About the crafting planner
Paste a Path of Exile item or the mods you want, and this tool returns a step-by-step crafting plan with costs, alternative paths, and a trade link for every input. It works out a realistic route to the item instead of leaving you to guess.
Can I get a plan from a screenshot?
Yes. Drop in a screenshot of an item and the mods are read off it automatically, then turned into a plan. Reading a screenshot is free and does not count against your daily limit.
Does it show more than one way to craft?
When a step has a cheaper or safer alternative, the plan lists it so you can choose. One common case is a metacraft that can be done at the bench or with a beast, where the beast is often far cheaper but depends on what is for sale.
Is crafting cheaper than buying?
Often, yes. For many rare items the inputs cost less than a finished copy on trade, which is the whole reason to plan the craft before you start.
